Please Note: for 98 F-150's and for '98 Explorer, please be sure to check your plugs in the rear. If your current radio does NOT have two small holes at each side on the front of the radio, this radio is NOT the right one for you. Some models require modification or mounting brackets. Some F-150, Expedition and Navigator vehicles may have some inner dash plastic that keeps the radio from sliding in all the way. This is not structural and can be easily removed with a dremel or other small cutting tool. And also some 2001 and 2002 Explorers and Mountaineers have a different mounting system. They use bolt-on brackets at the bottom of the unit. Ford radios are extremely easy to install. It takes 15-20 Minutes to install one. Check the plug in before you Buy.
