PLEASE NOTE: The vehicles listed above come with the option of a standard audio system or a Logic 7 Premium audio system. Each sound system uses the same model radio, however each radio is encoded to the specific sound system that the car has. We want to be clear that this radio is programmed for a vehicle with the Logic-7 sound system. If you purchase this radio but have the standard sound system in the car it will require encoding. If you have the Logic 7 sound system in the vehicle it will not require encoding. If you are unsure which sound system you have in your car, please call us before purchasing with your VIN # ready and we can verify which sound system your vehicle has: 952-707-6200

PLEASE NOTE: In addition to matching the sound system to be sure the radio is encoded properly, it is also important to match the part number. Compatibility in your vehicle is only guaranteed if you are matching the part number with the unit you are replacing.

PLEASE NOTE: Regarding encoding, we strongly suggest contacting us before making a purchase. If you purchase an item that is already encoded for your sound system it will save you time and money. Many BMW dealerships are not familiar with the encoding process and either will not do it or will charge a high price to encode it for you. For this reason it is much easier to purchase a radio that is already encoded to the sound system you have. If you install the radio and it's encoded to the opposite system it will produce no sound output.
